7.40am- Church Street doors open
7.45am- Ballroom doors open (Teachers can access just before)

8:15am – Section 1 Latin solos (9 years & under)
9:35am – Section 1 Ballroom solos (9 years & under)
11am – Section 1 Classical solos (9 years & under)

12pm – Section 2 Classical solos (10-13 years)
1:15pm – Section 2 Ballroom solos (10-13 years)
3pm – Section 2 Latin solos (10-13 years)

4:50pm – Section 3 Classical solos (14 years & over)
6:15pm – Section 3 Ballroom solos (14 years & over)
8:15pm – Section 3 Latin solos (14 years & over)

10:15pm – Approx finish time
*Awards will be presented after each final have danced

Other useful information relating to schedule:

• Event Order: Each section will run with odd events first, then even events for the initial rounds. Please can dancers be ready and standing by the floor for when their event is called.
• Recalls: Please note that recalls will be communicated via teachers Whatsapp Group and via screens in the room. Starting one minute after each non-final event, numbers recalled to the next round will display on these screens. The recalls rotate every 10 seconds to show upcoming events. This helps dancers and spectators know in advance if they’ve progressed to the next round. Note: The order on the screens may not match the order we call them in but teachers will have this information. If anyone is unsure whether or not they have been recalled please check with your teacher or come to the front of the stage and we will check for you.
• Photos After Finals: To help keep the schedule on track, we’re asking spectators to remain in their seats during presentations for this event. Dancers will still receive their awards as usual, and spectators will have a moment to take photos from their seats. To ensure everyone still gets the chance to capture memories, we’ll have a special photo area set up where dancers can celebrate and take pictures after their events.
• Warm-Ups: Arena 1 will be available for warm-ups, with music played prior to each section. For example, during Section 1 Latin, we’ll play Section 1 Ballroom music, and so on. Dancers can use this space after they’ve performed to prepare for their next section. Please ensure children are accompanied by an adult at all times.

A Body of Persons Approval (BOPA) has been issued for this event by the local Council. Under BOPA conditions, the priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all event participants, with particular attention to children up to school-leaving age. This should be considered a team effort between:
* Event Organisers
* Event Staff
* Licensed Chaperones
* Dance School Teachers/Leaders
* Parents/Guardians/Responsible Adults

It would be much appreciated if all attendees could take note of the following information.

Photo/ Video Policy-
As this is a private event for event participants and their family/friends, our organisation would like to be able to permit the use of cameras to capture these special memories. We would however like to bring your attention to the following:

If you are intending to upload photos/videos of your participant to social media, it is recommended that you consider your privacy settings so that you limit your audience to close friends & family. Our team may also take videos and photos to use on All Nations social media pages. If anyone does have any concerns/objections to this or would like us to make adjustments for any particular event, please speak to your dance school lead who will communicate this with our events team.

Changing- Dancers are strictly not permitted to change in the ballroom or the corridors unless they are wearing a base layer (leotard, shorts, or crop top). If anyone needs to change during their time with us, both male and female changing rooms will be clearly signposted on the first balcony in the Ballroom. Dancers of school age or younger must be accompanied by an adult or a chaperone while changing. Please ask a member of our team if you are unsure where these are located.

Child Supervision & Sign in/ Sign Out Procedure-Participants up to school-leaving age are supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Participants of this age will not be permitted to pass our door/security team without a responsible adult accompanying them. On arrival and departure, event participants are asked to inform their teacher/group lead so that they can record attendance times at the event.

The Designated Safeguarding Leads for All Nations are Jessica Porter & Jackie Sanderson, who will be in attendance for the duration of the event and will be based on the stage. Alternatively, you can contact us directly here

Parking: The Winter Gardens does not have onsite public parking. However, there is a large multi-storey car park across from the entrance to the Winter Gardens (Hounds Hill car park). Additionally, there is open-air parking on Adelaide Street, located at the rear of the venue, as well as numerous other parking options nearby. Please check the closing times of any car park you decide to use.

Emergency Evacuation Procedure: The building operates a two-tier alarm system. The first stage is a loud intermittent beep; listen and be aware. At this stage, you are not required to do anything; remain focused and vigilant. The second stage is a loud siren with a continuous tone. This sound signifies that we are evacuating the premises. Winter Gardens staff will assist in the opening of all fire exits to ensure a safe exit. Please evacate the building as calmly and quickly as is safe to do so.

Do not attempt to re-enter the venue unless instructed by the on-site staff or the attending fire officers. No access will be permitted until the Duty Manager or the attending officers give full site safety clearance.

The main assembly point is located at St John’s Church, opposite the front of the venue. The Manager on Duty will meet at this location. Instructions will be provided for re-entry or cancellation of the event.

If you are a responsible adult accompanying an event participant and it is safe to do so, please try to locate your dance school lead person at the assembly point to let them know that you have safely evacuated the building.

Food & Drink Policy- The venue allows people to bring their own packed lunches inside. Hot takeaway food is not permitted to be brought inside unless it has been purchased inside the Wintergardens

First aid- Should anyone require medical assistance at any time during their visit, we will have First Aiders available next to the stage. Please alert any of our staff if you need assistance.

Wristbands are available to purchase in advance via your dance teacher only.

Please have your wristbands on and fastened securely before entering the building. Lost, damaged or forgotten wristbands will not be replaced and will have to be re-purchased. Please see our full wristband policy here

Wristbands may be available to purchase on the door however these are only available to people attending with a dance school and are not on sale to the general public. Door tickets are priced at £30 each.
