Please see below lots of information to help you plan your day with us. The event will be held inside the Empress Ballroom. Please note there are 2 entrances to the Wintergardens and it will be the one on Church Street that will be used on the day.

The event will be divided into 3 main sections. Please see below the split of ages over these sections.

Section 1- All events for dancers age 9 years & under
Section 2- All events for dancers age 10-13 years
Section 3- All events for dancers age 14 years and over.

Important information for all events- First rounds will run in order of all odd dances first in each style then all even events.  To help us stick to schedule, please make sure dancers are ready for their first round as well as their recalls as we announce they are coming up. Your teacher will also have a copy of the recall results if you are unsure. Dancers are welcome to check with us by standing in front of the stage to show us their number and we can quickly confirm so that nobody misses their event. Please note that we will be unable to go back if anyone misses their event.

Food & drink policy– The venue allow people to bring packed lunches inside. Please help us to look after this room by clearing away and rubbish before you leave. There will be hot food available to purchase in the venue as well as a bar & tuck shop.

Wristbands– Please have your wristbands on and fastened securely before entering the building. Lost or damaged wristbands will not be replaced and will have to be repurchased. Photographs of wristbands left at home and teachers vouching for bands being purchased will not be accepted. If you remove your wristband, you will not be permitted to re enter the ballroom. Please see our wristband policy here- https://www.onthebeat.dance/wristband-prices/

Tickets will be available on the door at the door price (£27) for spectators only that are part of a dance school booked on to the event. All dancers must be entered in advance for this competition and we will not be accepting entries on the day of the event.

Photo/video policy- A reminder that you are permitted to take photographs and videos of your own dancers whilst they are performing. If anyone objects to this, please see us prior to the start of the event.

There will also be a videographer attending the competition making a promotional video of All Nations. If you have any concerns around this, please let your teacher know before the day so they can highlight this to us.

Professional photos- Paul from Kick & Flick will be taking photos at this event. They will be available to download for a small charge from his website. Please look out for the QR code available at the event and sent to your teacher afterwards.

Allocated seating- All seating will be reserved clearly with your dance school name.

Parking- The Wintergardens does not have onsite public parking. However there is a large multistorey car park across from the entrance to Wintergardens (Hounds Hill car park). There is also open air parking on Adelaide street which is round the back of the venue as well as lots of other parking options close by. Please check closing times of any car park you decide to use.

Arena 1- Arena 1 will be open during the event and used as a practice room for dancers to warm up for each of their sections.
