We’re thrilled to announce the information for our upcoming dance competition, and it’s extra special because we’ll be hosting it at the prestigious King George’s Hall in Blackburn. We’ve now processed all the entries, and we’re excited to provide you with a detailed schedule, age categories, and essential information to help you plan your time with us.
Competition Highlights:
Our competition will feature three main sections:
1. Saturday, September 9th:
• All events for dancers aged 14 years & over.
2. Sunday, September 10th (Morning):
• All events for dancers aged 9 years & under.
3. Sunday, September 10th (Afternoon):
• All events for dancers aged 10-13 years
All sections include Classical solos & pairs, Ballroom solos & pairs, and Latin solos & pairs.
• Awards follow immediately after each category.

Note- We will include a bit of a party in both Sunday sections to cater for the ages attending
Venue Details:
• Location: King George’s Hall, Blackburn, BB2 1AA
• Parking: Ample parking is available in Blackburn Town Centre, with Fielden Street Car Park just a 2-minute walk away (BB2 1LQ)
• Food & Drink: The venue offers a bar serving hot & cold drinks and a café with a variety of delicious food options. Please note that attendees are strictly not permitted to bring inside any hot takeaway food or drink and these may be confiscated on arrival. Cold packed lunches/ cold drinks are permitted to be brought inside the ballroom but can we kindly ask everyone to clear away any rubbish before they leave.
Important Information:
• Wristbands: Ensure your wristbands are securely fastened before entering. Lost or damaged wristbands won’t be replaced. Additional wristbands available at the door for £25 (for attendees with a booked dance school).
• Photo/Video: You can photograph and video your dancers during their performances. If anyone objects to this, please see us prior to the start of the event.
• Allocated Seating: All seating will be reserved with your dance school name. If you arrive on Sunday for the afternoon section whilst the morning section is still running, you are welcome to sit on the balcony until more seating has come available downstairs as this section leave.
