All nations are delighted to be back for 2023! We are super excited to be starting the year of with one of our smaller events hosted at the Colne Muni!
There will be 3 main sections to the day
- All solo events for dancers age 9 years & under
- Pairs events for all ages
- All solo events for dancers age 10 years & over
Please see below all the information you need to plan your day with us as well as a full schedule and age categories for each section.
Food & drink policy– The venue has a bar serving hot & cold drinks all day. There will be some hot food available such as breakfast sandwiches, chips, toasties to purchase in the bar. Packed lunches are permitted to be brought inside the ballroom but can we kindly ask everyone to clear away any rubbish before they leave. Please don’t bring hot takeaway food or drink inside.
Wristbands– Please have your wristbands on and fastened securely before entering the building. Lost, damaged or forgotten wristbands will not be replaced and will have to be re-purchased in line with our wristband policy. Photographs of wristbands left at home will not be accepted.
Wristbands are available on the door at £22 however these are only available to people attending with a dance schoolbooked onto the event. Priority access will be given to those who have a wristband in advance.
Photo/video policy- A reminder that you are permitted to take photographs and videos of your own dancers whilst they are performing solos & duos. If anyone objects to this, please see us prior to the start of the event.
Allocated seating- All seating will be reserved clearly with your dance school name. Please note dancers arriving early for section 2 (10 years & over or pairs in the middle), , there is plenty of seating however you may initially want to sit on the balcony when you arrive until dancers from section 1 have left.
Address & Parking– Albert Road, Colne, BB8 0AEThere is lots of on street parking around the venue, most of which is free on Sundays. There is also a free car park around the back of the venue.
